A Bishop's Blessing

Here is a suggestion.  Whenever you have an appointment with your bishop, before you leave his office, ask him for a blessing.  He will be happy to give you one.  In fact, he would love to give you a blessing.

You are showing your humility in just asking him.

Those who are proud will not ask for a blessing because they know they can do it all by themselves.

My bishop knows that I am going to ask him for a blessing. And I always receive strength from that experience. That is what the priesthood is for.

For someone living at home, you may wish to request a Father's blessing. And that could be requested every day if needed. See the post.
